PowerTribe covers DIO. During this quarancation (while we are not performing any shows or hunkering in the studio) … John Chominsky (drummer of PowerTribe) suggested that we try our hand at some cover songs.

We liked the idea as we haven’t really tried any covers as a band. While some people can really see the talent of bands through their original songs, others determine the degree of talent through how well bands can play songs that are familiar or popular. So we really liked the idea of sharing our talents however way that we can.

John thought the song “The Last In Line” would be a cool song to approach. We all agreed. And of course, DIO is truly The Godfather of Metal so creating an appropriate rendition was really important to us.

PowerTribe gave it shot. We recorded all the music and it was a perfect choice for us. We are very proud of this tribute to DIO. It was a lot of fun creating the video and filming in our remote places. We were making music from Los Angeles to Colorado.

We hope you will support this video on YouTube and pass it along for others to check it out too. We would love to get the word out about PowerTribe. If it takes a cover song to get people to listen to our original music, then we have done our job.
