Educated at Drummers Collective in NYC and Berklee in Boston, John is an elaborate architect of rhythm in a world being rewritten by machines. With a feel for song-craft and sonic space, he directs precision, creativity, intuition & intensity to every track he touches. Whether behind the drum kit or behind the console, John builds a foundation meant to withstand the fire.
A modern-day renaissance force, John balances the chaos of recording national acts & voiceovers … to being the musician recording with his bands. His performances at live shows display surgical precision. But his drumming is both cerebral and primal. He is known to summon drums parts appropriate for any song.
