We’re excited to share the official PowerTRIBE video for our new single” The Earthlings Have Died.”
The video is now live and available to watch here on our site, as well as on YouTube.
This song was actually conceptualized in 2019. We’ve been circling it for a while. PowerTribe has always leaned into the last-day questions of dark futures and “what if” scenarios that don’t always feel that far off. The Earthlings have died imagines a world after humanity’s collapse – after ambition, conflict, and technology have pushed things too far. It’s not so much about machines turning on people. It’s about what happens after the damage is done.
Musically, the track hits hard with PowerTribe’s signature guitar riffs, double-kick momentum, and a cinematic vibe that pulls you into that post-human world. Lyrically, it leans into the concept of robot consciousness and scorched Earth, all from the robot’s perspective.
Working with Italian producer Marco Barusso (Lacuna Coil) on the mixing and mastering, he helped bring that vision to life.
The video itself mirrors that contrast. You’ll see an AI-inspired anime visual twist alongside very gritty, low-fi footage of PowerTribe performing by some empty railroad tracks. All visuals were captured by our friend, Charles Mumford (Final Gravity), who knew how to focus on the guerrilla-like details.
PowerTribe has been writing about apocalyptic themes since day one as a band. Long before pandemics or AI headlines were daily news, these ideas were already finding their way into our music. And if you’ve been with us since the inception, we say a big “Thank you!”
The Earthlings Have Died is simply another chapter in that ongoing narrative.
Thanks for being here, for watching, and for supporting what we create.
